It produces varietal, table wines, and dessert wines, both red and white. Bottling and distribution are handled at the winery. In 1917, Santo Cambianica, an Italian man from the northern Italy immigrated to Los Angeles and started the winery at its current location. Hoping for good luck, he dedicated the winery to Saint Anthony. The winery has been declared as historical monument #42 in the city of Los Angeles. The historic San Antonio Winery has been an oasis of good living and culture in the heart of Los Angeles. The San Antonio Winery now has three locations; the Historic Los Angeles Winery, the Ontario Wine and Gift Store, and the NEW Paso Robles Wine and Gift Store. The San Antonio Winery in LA offers complimentary tasting and winery tours. They feature the Riboli Family of Wines and a unique and varied selection from around the wine world. There are two types of tasting, the first is complementary tasting which allows you 3 free samples from a selected list. The second is Artisan series tasting, which for $8.00 (3 wines) or $10.00 (4 wines) you will enjoy a wine flight consisting of highly limited reserve wines from the Riboli Family's estates and various imported wines from some of the world's most prestigious regions.

Another wonderful winery to visit in LA is the Malibu Family Wines, which is located on Saddleback Ranch. The rich, fascinating history of Saddlerock Ranch began more than three centuries ago. Perfectly positioned at the crest of the Santa Monica Mountains, their vineyards are indeed special. The rocky terrain and steep south facing slopes provide the perfect environment for growing premium wine grapes. Planting started in 1997 with 14 acres of Cabernet and Merlot. Today their hillside vineyards consist of approximately 60,000 vines on 65 acres and are well on their way to reach their goal of 100 acres. They have eight varietals planted; they include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Malbec, Grenache, Mouvedre and Viognier. Malibu Wines has a tasting room that is a cozy and chic destination favored by the surf and sand loving locals. Nestled high above the coastline that has charmed the famous throughout its history, Malibu Wines invites you to choose from a selection of wines harvested and produced from this legendary winery. With ocean air, luscious sky, impeccable grapes, classic soil, each sip is a memory produced with love and affection from the locals. We proudly feature fine wines from Malibu Family Wines (MFW), best known for integrating new-world technology with old-world artistry. The vineyards are located in the ideal environment for growing premium wine grapes - high altitude separated from the coastline, pristine weather conditions, rocky soil. The vines are hand-picked and sorted the same day. Wines are aged in a combination of premium French and American oak. The final result is a perfectly designed blend of fruit, tannins and structure.

One other option for wine tasting is at the D’argenzio Winery, with one location in Santa Rosa and one in Burbank. D'Argenzio Winery is a family winery in the truest Italian sense. Their grapes are grown in the world-class regions of Sonoma County. They are aged in new French oak and American oak barrels. With an outstanding growing season in Sonoma Valley, they primarily produce vintages from two appellations: Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. Some special vintages hail from the Sonoma Coastal appellation of Green Valley micro area. Also have an excellent Merlot from Rutherford, adding Napa Valley to their collection. They also create a Vino Blanco, an Italian White called Tocai Friulano. They hold many different events in their exclusive Sonoma County Winery tasting room and wine bar. The D'Argenzio's Enoteca Tasting Room is open to the public. One of their events is barrel tastings of wine right from the barrel. Other events may include snacks, appetizers and meals.
